Summary of the course: the students should get a sense of the history of ideas and a variety of European unification projects, the reasons for the beginning of the integration process after the World War II and their role for the history of the continent in the 2nd half of XX century. -Education course "History of the United Europe: Transformation, Modernization and Integration of Central and Eastern European Countries in the EU" (36 hours). Lecturer: assoc. prof. Dmytro Chenchyk. Summary of the course: Students should get a sense of the challenges and problems of political transformation, economic modernization and integration, that encountered by the countries of Central and Eastern Europe on the way of entry into the EU and NATO. -Education course "History of the United Europe: The European Union and the Challenges of Globalization (the late XX – the beginning of the XXI cent.)." (36 hours). Lecturer: prof. Myhaylo Stanchev. Summary of the course: students should get a sense of the History of the European Union after 1993, the formation process of the institutional system and the modalities for the operation, the direction of integration and the challenges facing the EU Member States at the present stage.
